One of the very few concert works Korngold wrote during his Hollywood years was the short tone poem, Tomorrow.  Even though it started out as a full scale composition for the movie, A Constant Nymph, Korngold reworked it and issued it as a concert work and gave it the opus number 33.  In the central section is a song, When you are Gone.  This was the only music of Tomorrow published during Korngold's lifetime.

This new arrangement of this central song uses Korngold's original piano reduction as the basis for what become a free transcription of both the piano part and the vocal line.
